I studied Civil Construction, Civil Engineering and Building Physics at Delft University of Technology.

I specialise in facades, which have occupied all my working time since 1987. When I graduated from Delft TU, I got a job as a facade technology consultant, and it’s a field I still enjoy working in immensely.

As a consultant I like to address issues that call for a pragmatic solution. I like being the go-between for different parties and disciplines. I won’t be satisfied until I complete a commission by fully and effectively resolving the issue for everyone involved. I always try to position myself in the mind of my clients, but most of all I try to think what’s best for them. My no-nonsense way of thinking lets me take the lead to help achieve a set target by convincing other people that my proposal offers a solution. I enjoy combining my theoretical knowledge with my long years of practical experience.
Together with Peter de Boer and Ralph van der Stel I started IBS Consultants in 2002, of which IBS Special Projects is a subsidiary.

Within IBS I am constantly instilling my know-how, enthusiasm and professional passion into the members of our team in order to ensure our clients get the best possible service.
